In short

Pfotenblick does not collect data about you. Everything stays on your device. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics or tracking, and nothing is shared with third parties.

What the app processes

• Your pets' details: name, species, date of birth, microchip number, notes, photos, health entries, due dates and details for the handover and emergency sheets. You enter them yourself. They are stored locally in the app only.
• Expenses and receipts: amounts, dates, vet and receipts (photo or PDF) that you add yourself. Also local only.
• Camera and photos: the app only accesses them when you want to read the barcode of a microchip sticker or pick a photo (pet photo or receipt). The barcode is recognised on your device. Captured images are not stored.
• Notifications: reminders are scheduled locally on your device. The app asks for your permission.

Sharing

Nothing is sent to the provider's servers or to third parties. When you share a PDF or an export, you decide where it goes through your device's share menu.

Retention and control

Data stays until you delete it. In Settings you can export and delete all data. Removing the app from your device removes its data. Your device may include app data in your backup (iCloud Backup or computer). You control that in your device settings.
